Zuppa piccantina ai frutti di mare

Place the seafood in a colander and let it thaw. Rinse briefly with water. Chop the garlic and parsley. Heat the olive oil in a high pot. Briefly fry the garlic, parsley, and chili pepper. When the garlic begins to brown, add the thawed seafood and half a glass of white wine. Once the white wine has evaporated (this takes about 10 minutes), add the chopped or pureed tomatoes. Season with about 1 teaspoon of salt and simmer for about half an hour. Place a slice of bread in a soup bowl and ladle the soup on top.
