Spicy spaghetti with scampi in tomato and white wine sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 500 g shrimp(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp, heaped sour cream
  • some olive oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Fry the prawns in olive oil and drizzle with a tablespoon of lemon juice. Fry the prawns until cooked through. For the sauce, peel and chop the onion and garlic clove. Add them to a new pan with olive oil and fry until translucent. Then add the tomato paste and a dash of white wine and the sour cream. Season everything with salt and pepper and a few more herbs, if desired. Add more or less chili powder, depending on your taste. Simmer the sauce on low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the prawns at the very end. Serve with the spaghetti as a side dish.
