Spinach gnocchi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack of gnocchi from the refrigerated section, 400 g
  • 300 g spinach, fresh
  • 150 ml cream
  • 40 g Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

vegetarian

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan. Add the gnocchi and fry over medium heat for 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Meanwhile, sort the spinach, wash it, and spin it dry. Add the cream to the gnocchi and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Fold in half of the spinach and let it wilt. Repeat with the remaining spinach. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, season with salt, and pepper. Instead of fresh spinach, you can also thaw 300g of frozen spinach in the cream. Tip: For non-vegetarians, dice 100g of cooked ham and fold it in.
