Steak Pan with Puree Mix

The perfect steak pan with puree mix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Steak pan

  • 500 g Fresh beef steaks – cut into strips
  • 2 tsp Steak seasoning
  • 1 tsp Curry
  • 1 Cut the vegetable onion into strips
  • 2 Red pointed peppers – cut strips
  • 1 Green bell pepper – cut strips
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil

Puree mix

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 500 g Sweet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • Freshly grated nutmeg

for the puree mix

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into large cubes and cook in vegetable stock for about 20 minutes. Drain, mash with the potato masher, stir in olive oil and season well with nutmeg.

for the steak pan

  1. Cut the meat into strips (our master butcher almost fell out of his socks when I told him what I was going to do with the meat … but it’s worth it …). Put the meat strips in a bowl, sprinkle the steak seasoning and curry over them, add the oil and mix well. Then add the paprika strips and onion strips and mix again. Let it sit for a few minutes.
  2. Let a large pan get hot and fry the steak and paprika mixture in it over high heat for a good 4-5 minutes. season the whole thing again with salt and pepper

serve

  1. Arrange the steak pan and puree mix on plates. We also had carrot salad with oranges and pumpkin brittle.
