Sterntaler's pasta salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 1 pack of sheep’s cheese
  • 1 jar feta cheese, pickled cubes in herbs
  • 1 pack of spinach with Gorgonzola
  • 3 cloves garlic, or more to taste
  • a little salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Place frozen spinach, crushed garlic, and diced feta cheese in a large bowl. Pour the pickled feta cheese, oil, and herbs from the jar over the other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Break spaghetti (though more time-consuming than spiral pasta—it simply tastes better this way) into small pieces and cook until al dente. Drain the spaghetti, add it to the bowl while hot, and stir vigorously. Stir again after every 2 x 5 minutes to ensure the spinach is no longer frozen. Season again to taste.
