Strawberry smoothie with vanilla ice cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g strawberries
  • 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • 300 ml buttermilk or milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Add the strawberries (I like frozen ones) along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the buttermilk to a mixer and blend. If you only have a hand blender or something similar, you shouldn’t use frozen strawberries. Add sugar to taste. I always use 3 tablespoons, but you can omit it if you prefer a fruity, unsweetened flavor.
