Stuffed turkey rolls from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels
  • 1 jar bell pepper(s), roasted
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100g mozzarella
  • 4 tsp pesto, red
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, approx. 500 g
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • oregano
  • rosemary
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic and chop them finely with the roasted bell pepper. Season the meat with salt and pepper and spread a teaspoon of pesto on each. Place the bell pepper pieces on top and roll them up. Then brown them all over in a hot pan and place them in a baking dish. Brown the onion and garlic from the rolls in the pan. Stir in the passata and season with all the spices to taste. Then pour the sauce over the rolls. Slice the mozzarella and place them on the rolls. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
