Summer pasta with tomato and basil sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 750 g tortellini or pasta of your choice
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 12 cocktail tomatoes
  • some olive oil
  • 50 ml cream, optional
  • Salt
  • Spices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice the carrots. Finely chop the garlic clove. Place the cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, a little olive oil, and garlic in a blender and blend thoroughly. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Sauté the carrots in a pan with a little water until tender, then add the cream. Let it simmer briefly. Add the pasta and then the raw tomato sauce and mix well. Serve on plates.
