Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 turnip(s), approx. 500g
- 2 large potatoes, large
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g butter
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the turnip and potatoes and cut into equal-sized pieces. Cook in boiling salted water until tender. Allow to steam thoroughly, then mash with a potato masher or ricer. Bring the cream and butter to a boil and add to the mashed turnips and potatoes. Mix everything together and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. We serve this with pan-fried dishes and fish.
