very few calories, extremely simple
Split the pointed cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut half the head lengthwise about three times and cut it widthwise into thin slices (approx. 5-7 mm). Coarsely grate the carrot. Peel the onion, halve it, and chop it into very fine pieces. Mix everything with the mayonnaise. Tip: Since the mayonnaise is already very spicy, I recommend using the spices very sparingly. Thinly sliced gherkins or fresh parsley also go very well with this “fake” coleslaw. Coleslaw tastes best after a few hours in the refrigerator. Since this recipe uses pointed cabbage instead of the classic white cabbage, there’s no need to dress it with a vinegar and sugar mixture. Pointed cabbage is naturally wonderfully mild and “soft.” The 4 servings refer to a small bowl or as a side dish per person. 1 serving has 160 kcal.
