The Expert Told What Drinks and Substances Worsen the Skin

There are many foods, says the healthy eating expert, the consumption of which can and in most cases does negatively affect the condition of the skin.

There are many foods whose consumption can negatively affect the condition of the skin. This was told by a nutritionist (expert on proper nutrition) Anna Melnyk.

“Salt affects the appearance, in particular the skin around the eyes, but this is indirect. It overloads the body with fluid, which causes bags under the eyes that won’t last long, but the stretched skin will remain.

Coffee contains cortisol, stimulates the sebaceous glands and inflammation, and reduces the absorption of vitamin C. But to get these results from drinking coffee, you need to drink five to seven cups daily. And you don’t need to drink coffee on an empty stomach, because if you constantly irritate your stomach, your digestion and metabolism will be disturbed, and, of course, your skin will look worse.

According to Melnyk, sugar is definitely harmful to health, skin, and appearance in general. It blocks B vitamins, so the nervous system works worse, digestive disorders begin, which disrupts absorption, general fatigue occurs, etc.
