Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g salad (white cabbage salad)
  • 500 g minced meat, half and half
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme, dried
  • rosemary
  • Paprika powder
  • Basil, dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 3 tomatoes, ripe
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 500g tzatziki
  • 3 tbsp fresh ground herbs (frozen)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

a quick salad that is super delicious

Brown the minced meat in olive oil, add the chopped or crushed garlic cloves, and season with salt, pepper, and the dried spices. It should taste similar to gyros. Finely chop the cucumber, onion, and tomato. Layer everything in a bowl as follows: coleslaw, minced meat, cucumber, bell pepper, onion, cucumber, and tomato. Mix the sour cream, tzatziki, and mixed herbs with salt and pepper and drizzle over the salad as a dressing. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
