- 4 slices of white toast bread, crust removed
- 2 figs, fresh, peeled and sliced
- 100g Gorgonzola
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- some black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions

Mix the Gorgonzola with the crème fraîche and season with pepper. Spread the cheese mixture on the slices of toast and place the fig slices on two of the slices. Cover with the other two slices of toast (cheese-side down on the figs), and bake in a sandwich maker for about 5 minutes. It can also be served as a fruity cheese dessert.
