Tofu marinade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 15 g fresh ginger (chopped)
  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), red

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for 600 g tofu, marinate for about 1 hour, marinade can be used as a sauce base

Heat the oil. Finely chop the garlic cloves and ginger and fry in the oil. Finely chop the chili. Add all the remaining ingredients. Marinate the tofu for about an hour, then fry. A few tablespoons of the marinade can be used to make a sauce. Add sparingly, depending on the spiciness of the chili pepper. Serve the fried tofu over a green or mixed salad. Or serve with vegetable rice.
