Tomato and minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, approx. 500 g
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 3 tbsp, leveled tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • basil
  • Butter, lactose-free
  • Cream, lactose-free for refining

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brown the minced meat with the diced onion in oil until lightly browned. Then add the tomato paste and flour and mix well. Deglaze with water and passata until smooth. Thicken with more flour if necessary if the sauce is still too runny. Add the spices and finish with cream and butter. Fresh basil can be used to serve, if desired.
