Tomato rice

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g long grain rice
  • 2 onions
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp broth, instant
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • some oil
  • 400 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Greek style

Dice the onions and sauté them with the rice in oil. After 3 minutes, add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Pour in the water, stir in the broth, and simmer gently for 20 minutes. After 15 minutes, add the frozen peas. Serve as a side dish with roasted meat.
