Tomato Rice Chicken

The perfect tomato rice chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Chicken drumsticks
  • 6 Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 Can Chunky tomatoes
  • 250 ml Chicken broth
  • 4 Carrots
  • 125 g Beans
  • 120 g Uncooked rice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli from the mill
  • Worcester sauce
  1. Wash the chicken drumsticks and pat dry.
  2. Peel the onion, chop it up and fry in a pan with hot oil until translucent, add tomato paste and sweat with it.
  3. Now deglaze with the tomatoes, season with chilli, salt and pepper and pour in the broth.
  4. Bring everything to the boil, add the chicken drumsticks, bring to the boil and cook covered for about 25 minutes.
  5. Peel the carrots, cut into slices, clean the beans in half and add to the pan with the uncooked rice, continue cooking for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, adding a little broth if necessary.
