Tuna tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 onion(s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • garlic powder
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onion and fry in a pan with olive oil until translucent. Add tomato paste. Add the tuna to the onions and fry. Add the passata. Season to taste. The sauce can be served with pasta or used in lasagna. Note: For larger quantities, I would use one can of tuna with sunflower oil for every two cans. So, if you need to make three portions, I would use two without oil and one with oil.
