Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g turkey breast
- 250 g onion(s)
- 250 g mushrooms
- 3 carrots
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200 ml white wine, alternatively broth
- 6 thyme sprigs, alternatively dried
- 1 cup of cream
- n. B. Sauce thickener
- e.g. lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Cut the turkey into bite-sized cubes. Peel and dice the onion. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Wash, peel, and slice the carrots. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat in batches. Add the mushrooms, onion, and carrots and sauté for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Dust with flour. Add the white wine and thyme and simmer everything with the lid on over medium heat for 40 minutes. Add the cream and thicken with the sauce thickener. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Serve with rice or hash browns and a salad.
