  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 bell peppers, green, hot
  • 4 small tomatoes

  • Oil for frying
  • 2 liters of water, approx.
  • some broth, instant
  • Maggi
  • Spice mix (meat seasoning)
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • possibly chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Clean the broad beans, chop them up, and let them stand in a bowl of water. Chop the onions, garlic, and hot peppers and fry them in a pan with the oil. Quarter the tomatoes and add them to the pan with the minced meat. Season the minced meat with pepper, salt, and meat seasoning and fry well. Then add the tomato paste and pour in water (ideally 1 1/2 liters or less to start with). Drain the beans in a sieve and add them. Add more water, if necessary, until the beans are covered. Now season with the broth and other seasonings and simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. If you like, you can also add potatoes; they taste delicious. Serve with rice or bulgur wheat as a side dish.
