For Minecraft Mushroom Soup in the game Minecraft, you need a bowl, one red mushroom, and one brown mushroom. My son wanted Minecraft mushroom soup for lunch. The red mushroom—even though it looks nice—isn’t possible for us, so I came up with a substitute: First, peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into large pieces, and boil them in salted water for 15 minutes. Drain the cooking water, mash the potatoes, and set them aside. Soak the dried mushrooms in cold water for half an hour. Then place them in a sieve and rinse. Cut rectangular slices from the fresh mushrooms, one for each mushroom. To do this, remove some of the cap, then the stem, and finally the sides. Purée the remaining mushrooms together with the soaked mushrooms and a little water. Remove the core and stem from the red bell pepper and purée them as well. In a small saucepan, combine the paprika purée with the tomato paste and oil, add a little water, and heat. Cook the mushroom slabs in the soup for about 10 minutes. Then remove the mushroom slabs and sprinkle lightly with salt. They should have turned at least a little orange. Combine the bell pepper and tomato paste mixture with the onions, garlic, parsley, cream, vegetable stock, and the mashed potatoes and mushrooms in a large pot and heat. Let the soup simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring well every now and then. Before serving, add a few white dots to the mushroom slabs; yogurt or cream cheese works well for this, and then scatter these over the soup.
