Use the rice cooker correctly according to these instructions
Prepare rice, water, a measuring cup, salt, and a spatula. Then follow these steps to operate your rice cooker. Also, always refer to the instructions for use of your device.
- Remove or open the lid of your rice cooker. Put as much rice as you need in the bowl.
- It is best to use a measuring cup to get the right amount. Measure exactly how much rice you put in.
- Add as much water as you need. You can usually find the required amount on the rice packaging.
- Add another pinch of salt. If you like your rice spicy, add a small number of your favorite spices. You can also make your own spices.
Set the rice cooker – this is how it works
Once you have put the rice in the rice cooker, you can start cooking. A little tip: You can also use the rice cooker to steam vegetables.
- Cover the rice cooker with a lid. Now set it to the “Cook” function. Observe the instructions for use.
- Once your cooker jumps to “keep warm,” the rice is done. You can now remove the rice by opening the lid.
- It is best to stir the rice with a spatula. The rice will get better if you let it sit for another 10 minutes.
- If you leave the “keep warm” function on, the rice will be kept warm and continue to rise. After a few hours, for example, it tastes better than immediately after cooking.
