Vegan: Liver Sausage

The perfect vegan: liver sausage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 medium sized Onions
  • 175 g Smoked tofu
  • 1 Can Canned kidney beans
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dried marjoram
  • Sunflower oil
  1. First, put the can of beans in a sieve, rinse them well and set aside.
  2. Now heat some oil in a pan and fry the onion finely, then add the beans and braise for a few minutes … and set aside.
  3. Now cut the tofu into small cubes and put in the blender, add the pan with the beans and onions, the tablespoon of marjoram with pure and a little salt & pepper, then add a dash of sunflower oil and mix ….. it becomes a good liver sausage-like mass.
  4. Possibly. Season with salt and pepper, if necessary some oil if you like it a little smoother.
  5. Put the whole thing in containers and put in the fridge until dinner to steep.
  6. Add freshly baked bread ….. and the husband didn’t notice that it was VEGAN Vurst ….. and I would NEVER have noticed how varied vegans eat …. it gives me more and more fun and joy to forego animal food ;-))
