Vegan semolina porridge: step by step
Semolina porridge consists of grain, mostly wheat is used for the production. This is coarsely ground in a mill and processed into semolina porridge. This is why it is often used as an energy supplier. If you are vegan, you do not necessarily have to do without it, we will show you a vegan alternative.
- Put about 500 milliliters of plant milk (e.g. oat milk) together with 100 grams of semolina in a small saucepan. It doesn’t matter whether you use wheat or spelled semolina.
- For sweetness, use maple syrup at best, depending on your taste sweeten your semolina porridge with two to five tablespoons.
- To bring in a little more flavor, you can season the porridge with a little cinnamon, if you like.
- Now place the pot on the stovetop and set it to the highest level. Wait until the first bubbles form while stirring constantly and then turn the heat to medium-high.
- Now simmer for about two more minutes and stir constantly, then your vegan semolina porridge is ready to eat.
