When is the blueberry season?
Blueberries are in season from the end of June to September. In nature, they prefer moist moor meadows and the undergrowth of sparse moor forests. The main growing areas are in the Lüneburg Heath, in Brandenburg, and in the Oldenburg area as well as in southern Germany and central Baden.

While collecting for private use is generally permitted for everyone, exceeding the usual amounts requires permission from the forest owner. The use of tools such as the blueberry comb is often excluded, especially in the regulations of nature reserves.
