A minute steak is a tender piece of meat no more than an inch thick. Therefore, it only needs to be grilled or fried for a short time. Minute steaks are typically made from pork, but also from beef.
If the cooking time is too long, the meat will become dry or tough. Fry it in a hot pan with a little simmering oil for just 30 seconds to a maximum of a minute on each side. Then take the pan off the stove and let the minute steak simmer covered for a moment. Only season the thin steaks with salt just before serving so that no meat juices escape during roasting and affect the consistency.
