Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g wheat (Ebly soft wheat)
- 4 fish fillets (pollock)
- 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
- 300 g mixed vegetables of your choice (e.g. carrots, corn, peas)
- Salt
- pepper
- Lemon(s), the juice
- Tomato paste
- possibly broth, instant, if required
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the soft wheat flour according to the package instructions and drain. During cooking, cut the pollock fillets into pieces and drizzle with lemon juice. Then season with salt and fry in hot olive oil – if you don’t want the flour to fall apart, remove it before adding the vegetables. Now add the vegetables and fry. Add tomato paste if desired and fry briefly. Then add the chopped tomatoes and bring everything to a boil. Now add the soft wheat flour and – if removed beforehand – fold in the fish again. Season to taste with the spices and a little stock, if desired. Tips: If you can’t tolerate wheat, you can use brown rice instead. Onions or garlic are also tolerated in this dish. The fish can be omitted for vegetarians.
