Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pike, small approx. 60 cm
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, ground
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, finely diced
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, finely chopped
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 300 ml dry white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours

with spicy sauce

Clean the pike thoroughly and pat dry. Combine the garlic, chilies, peppercorns, soy sauce, and ginger and marinate the pike for at least 1 hour. This works best in a freezer bag. Heat sesame oil in a pan, sauté the onions and bell peppers, and deglaze with the white wine. Pour this mixture into a roasting pan and add the pike. Cook in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C. The fish is cooked when the dorsal fin can be easily removed.
