Whole wheat pasta with avocado and mozzarella sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g whole wheat pasta
  • 1 ball of buffalo mozzarella
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 1 cup of whipped cream (200 ml)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 handful of fresh basil
  • 3 spring onions
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Chop the mozzarella, avocado, and garlic and blend in a bowl with the basil and cream. Season generously with salt and pepper. To serve, spoon the sauce over the cooked pasta. Slice the spring onions into rings and scatter over the dish. There are many variations: Fresh tomatoes or bell peppers go perfectly with the pasta, or you can add a different type of cheese to the sauce. Eat everything quickly, as the avocado will otherwise turn the sauce brownish-gray.
