Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g zucchini
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bulb(s) of red garlic (4-5 cloves)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 g ham, diced
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

with ham cubes, onions and egg

Remove the ends of the washed zucchini and place them over the grater. Then, season the zucchini slices thoroughly with salt to release the water, then cover and let stand in a bowl. Drain the liquid occasionally. After about 2 to 3 hours, rinse the zucchini slices thoroughly and then carefully dry them on kitchen towels. From now on, you can treat them like fried potatoes. Brown them with the ham cubes, add onions, or the egg. If you want to eat them without the egg, they also taste delicious sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
