Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 liters of water
- 2 slice(s) smoked bacon, 1 jar of seasoning
- some broth, granulated
- some pepper
- 500 g potatoes, waxy
- 2 large onions
- some butter
- 4 eggs, hard-boiled
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 9 hours
Sourdough soup
Boil the smoked belly in water until it becomes broth, stir in the broth, and bring to a boil. Season to taste with broth and pepper. Peel, boil, and mash the potatoes. Peel the onions, fry in butter until golden brown, and mix everything with the mashed potatoes. Hard-boil the eggs and quarter them. Place the mashed potatoes in a deep dish, add the quartered eggs, and top with the broth.
