Baden carnival cakes, very simple

Knead the flour, cream, and salt into a dough. Dust the work surface with a little flour and roll out the dough thinly. Cut or roll out diamond shapes from the dough (for a more attractive appearance). Place the diamond shapes in hot oil and fry. Let them drain slightly and then roll them in powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. I got this recipe from my grandmother and was very surprised when Colombians told me they knew this recipe from Colombia, which I consider to be a traditional Baden-Württemberg dish!
