Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g cheese, grated, to taste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 g flour
  • possibly egg yolk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the ingredients and knead well. Roll out the dough to about 2 knife-edge thickness and cut into small strips (approx. 15 x 1.5 cm). Brush the strips with egg yolk, if desired, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. They’re perfect as a snack for parties or movie nights, but they also taste great spread with cream cheese or herb cream cheese as an appetizer or small snack between meals. The dough has 1497 kcal.
