Apple and cinnamon mini gugls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 35 g brown sugar
  • 25 g acacia honey
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 apple, e.g. Elstar, peeled and finely grated
  • some powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick, little treat

Mix the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl. Then add the melted butter, honey, sugar, and egg and mix briefly with a mixer. Finally, stir the grated apple into the mixture with a spoon. Pour the batter into the greased and lightly floured mini-gugl pan and bake at approximately 210°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for approximately 12-15 minutes. Please check the baking progress and browning. After baking, let the mini-gugls cool briefly, remove from the pan, and sprinkle with a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon. Note: My mini-gugl pan has 24 cavities; the batter yields approximately 22 pieces. The mini-gugls taste best when lukewarm.
