Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 150 g butter
- 120 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- some jelly (blackcurrant jelly or other sweet and sour)
- Fondant or icing
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 9 hours; Total time approx. 9 hours 30 minutes
Mix all ingredients into a smooth dough and chill, preferably overnight. Roll out and cut out evenly sized cookies, making sure to leave a hole in the center of each one. Bake at approximately 175°C. Once cooled, spread a little jelly on the bottom cookie (without the hole) and stick the matching cookie with the hole on top. Cover with fondant or icing.
