Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 330 g flour
  • 140 g sugar
  • 140 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 330 g butter, cold
  • e.g. jam
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or optionally about 3 – 4 drops vanilla flavor

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, and hazelnuts in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and add. Knead everything into a shortcrust pastry. Shape the dough into a log, divide it into equal pieces, and form them into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Make a hollow in the center with your finger and fill it with jam of your choice. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. Tip: If you like, you can refine the dough with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or 3-4 drops of vanilla extract.
