Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour
  • 500 g sugar
  • 500 g butter
  • 8 pts vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pack of couverture or chocolate for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 35 minutes

This is a very old recipe that always works!

Using the kneading attachment of a hand mixer, combine all ingredients until a smooth dough forms. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rest overnight, not too warm or too cold. The next day, grind the cookies using the biscuit attachment. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake at 200°C (convection oven) or 220°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes. Variation: Once cooled, dip the cookies in chocolate coating, let them dry, and then fill them into tightly sealed containers.
