Ingredients for 50 servings:

  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp anise, ground
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 25 almonds, peeled
  • 25 hazelnuts, shelled
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix the sugar, vanilla sugar, and fat into small pieces. Season with salt and anise. Stir in the egg. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in the milk. Fill a piping bag with a large nozzle. Pipe approximately 50 walnut-sized dots onto two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Top half of the cookies with almonds and the other half with hazelnuts. Bake each sheet in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan-assisted oven) for approximately 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
