Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g lamb or mutton (chop or leg)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 ½ liters vegetable broth and/or meat broth
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, waxy
- 500 g green beans (frozen)
- 1 tsp, heaped savory
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with lamb and potatoes – ideal for the cold season
Dice the onion and fry briefly on both sides in the pressure cooker along with the meat. Deglaze with stock and season with pepper, salt, and garlic (make sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot). Cook for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. After 30 minutes, remove the meat from the stock, remove it from the bone if necessary and chop it up, then return it to the stock. Add the potatoes to the pressure cooker along with the beans and savory and cook for another 15 minutes. Season to taste. This stew tastes great with fresh brown bread, but you can also eat it on its own. It might even serve more than 4 people.
