Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 240 ml milk, lukewarm
- 60 ml oil
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- Flour , for the work surface
- Milk, for brushing
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Place the flour in a bowl and mix with the dried yeast, salt, and sugar. Add the egg, oil, and lukewarm milk and knead into a smooth dough (until glossy). Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size. Then, on a lightly floured surface, knead the dough vigorously and divide it into 9 equal pieces. Form each piece into a 15cm long roll and flatten by 1cm on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let it rise for another 20-30 minutes in a warm place. Brush thinly with milk and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes on the middle rack.
