Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g flour, wheat flour
  • 25 g yeast
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp milk (for brushing)
  • olive oil
  • sesame
  • possibly black cumin

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

perfect with grilled food, stews or just to eat as is

From the above ingredients, make a smooth dough (best kneaded in a bread pan). Then let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size. Divide the dough into the desired number of loaves and roll out to finger-thickness (do not knead any further!). Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press down with your fingers. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and drizzle with olive oil (not too timidly!). Let it rise a little longer. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 225°C. Then bake the loaves in the oven for about 20-30 minutes (depending on the desired degree of browning).
