Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 125 g cornstarch
- 100 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 250 g butter, cold
- 2 tbsp cream
- 3 tbsp jam
- Sugar (granulated sugar), for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Sift flour and cornstarch into a bowl, then add sugar and vanilla sugar and mix well. Sprinkle with crème fraîche and small pieces of butter and knead everything into a fairly soft dough. If it’s sticky, chill for 30 minutes if necessary. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 cm thick and cut out circles. Cut out holes in 1/2 of the circles. Leave the circles untreated, spread the cream over the circles and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 220°C for about 10 minutes until light golden. Spread the jam over the circles while they’re still hot and place the circles on top.
