  • 800 little wheat flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 150 g herb cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

for 12 pieces

Place flour and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the center. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Pour the liquid into the well. Cover with a little flour and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Then add the olive oil and cream cheese and knead everything in a food processor until you have a smooth, supple yeast dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Then shape the dough into a log and cut it into 12 equal slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and roll out with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 2 cm. Let rise briefly again. Brush the surface of the flatbreads with salted water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 to 25 minutes. Tastes great with soups and also with savory toppings.
