Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 g butter
  • 200 g walnuts
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 20 g brown sugar
  • 10 g cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat oven to 100°C. Melt butter in a non-stick pan. Add cinnamon and cayenne pepper and stir to combine. Add walnuts to the pan and mix. Sprinkle sugar over the walnuts and mix well. Spread the nuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the oven for 30 minutes (turning after 15 minutes). Sprinkle cocoa powder over the still-warm walnuts, turning halfway through. Let the walnuts cool on the baking sheet and then serve. The walnuts will keep for about 5 days in an airtight container. Easy to prepare, amazing taste!
