Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp dill, dried
- 1 tsp cognac
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar, white
- 2 tbsp cream
- some salt and pepper, white
- 1 dashes lemon juice
- 1 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g chicory
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, dill, and cognac. Stir in the balsamic vinegar a spoonful at a time and mix well. Slowly add the cream and stir in. Season to taste with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Finally, carefully and slowly stir in the olive oil. Cut the chicory into 1 cm strips and wash in lukewarm water. Dry thoroughly, add to the sauce, and sprinkle with dill.
