Chinese cabbage salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g Chinese cabbage
  • 2 tangerines, alternatively 1 orange
  • 100 g yogurt salad cream
  • 50 g natural yogurt, 1.5%
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp, leveled curry powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with curry dressing

Remove the outer leaves from the Chinese cabbage, halve the head lengthwise, remove the stalk, and cut the Chinese cabbage into fine strips. Wash the lettuce and let it drain, or better yet, put it in a salad spinner and spin it dry thoroughly. Peel the mandarins and halve the individual segments again if desired. For the dressing: Mix together the yogurt salad cream and natural yogurt. Stir in the orange juice – 1-2 tablespoons depending on whether you want the dressing thick or thin. Season with curry, salt, and pepper, then mix all the ingredients together and let it sit for a short while. Alternatively, if you’re using an orange, segment it and collect the juice that runs out. You can then use this for the dressing. If you like, you can also add chopped walnuts to the salad.
