Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g rice
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 onions
- ½ bunch of spring onions
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 jar Pesto Calabrese (e.g. from Barilla)
- Fat for frying

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
quick and easy, can also be varied vegetarian
Cook the rice. Dice the bell peppers and onions and fry them in a large pan with a little fat. Then add the sliced spring onions and fry briefly. Add the shredded meat of your choice (pork, chicken, turkey, or soy) to the pan (it’s delicious with shredded pork gyro-style). Seasoning the meat beforehand isn’t necessary. When the meat is cooked and tender, add the rice to the pan and the small jar of pesto for flavor. Mix everything well and serve.
