Pasta and apple-leek vegetables with Wienerle and caraway

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g leek, cleaned
  • 2 poultry sausages (Wienerle)
  • n. B. Sunflower oil for frying
  • 500 g apple juice
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 100 g pasta

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Halve the leek and wiener sausages lengthwise and cut into strips or slices. Sauté in oil for 5 minutes and deglaze with the apple juice. Add the spices and bring the pan contents to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Season to taste. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain. Arrange with the leek and serve.
