Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g potatoes
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 100 g psyllium husks
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 200 ml water, more if needed

Peel and boil the potatoes and press them through a potato ricer. Let cool. Combine the oats, psyllium husks, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add the water to the potato mixture and mix. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix with a hand mixer (dough hook). If necessary, add another 50-100 ml of water until the dough is no longer crumbly. Knead the dough with your hands until smooth. Then divide into 11 equal portions (approx. 105-109 g each), shape into rolls, and place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) top/bottom heat for 20-25 minutes. These rolls are low in calories and contain less fat and carbohydrates than regular rolls. The consistency and flavor are different from regular rolls, but are still delicious. 1076 kcal / 11 rolls = approx. 98 kcal per roll.
