Apple and quark casserole with nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 g soft wheat semolina
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some cinnamon, ground
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 100 g hazelnuts or almonds, grated
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g raisins, soaked in rum
  • 3 apples
  • 2 egg whites
  • Fat for the mold
  • possibly almond flakes
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

sweet main course, quick to make

Combine the quark, egg yolks, semolina, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, sour cream, nuts, and baking powder in a bowl and mix well. Coarsely grate the apples and fold them in at the end, along with the stiffly beaten egg whites and raisins. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth it down. Sprinkle with flaked almonds, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar to serve. This serving serves about 3-4 people.
